Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any tour with Dina Tours. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms.


1. General Information

1.1 About Dina Tours

Dina Tours operates as a tourism service provider in Egypt, offering guided tours, excursions, and travel packages throughout Egypt including Cairo, Giza, Luxor, Alexandria, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, and other destinations.

1.2 Booking Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and any other written information brought to your attention before booking, form the basis of your contract with Dina Tours. By making a booking, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of all members of your party.


2. Bookings and Payments

2.1 How to Book

Bookings can be made through our website via our secure GetYourGuide platform, by email, or by contacting our customer service team directly.

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards, and secure online payment systems through GetYourGuide.

2.3 Payment Terms

  • Full Payment: Payment in full is required at the time of booking for most tours
  • Multi-Day Packages: Some multi-day packages may require a deposit with the balance due 14 days before departure
  • Currency: All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Payment Confirmation: You will receive a booking confirmation via email once payment is processed

2.4 Pricing

  • All prices are subject to availability and may change without prior notice until booking is confirmed
  • Prices include items specifically mentioned in the tour description
  • Additional costs such as optional activities, personal expenses, and gratuities are not included unless explicitly stated

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • Free Cancellation: Most tours offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure may incur a 100% cancellation fee
  • No-Show: Failure to show up for your tour without prior cancellation will result in forfeiture of the full tour price
  • Multi-Day Tours: Multi-day packages may have different cancellation terms, which will be specified at the time of booking

3.2 How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, please contact us via email with your booking reference number as soon as possible. Cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your written notification.

3.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.

3.4 Cancellation by Dina Tours

We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to:

  • Insufficient bookings (minimum numbers not met)
  • Force majeure circumstances (weather, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics)
  • Safety concerns
  • Operational issues beyond our control

In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative date.


4. Changes and Modifications

4.1 Changes by Customer

  • Requests to modify your booking (date changes, tour changes, participant changes) must be made in writing
  • Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees
  • Changes requested within 48 hours of the tour start time may not be possible

4.2 Changes by Dina Tours

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to tour itineraries, accommodations, or schedules due to operational requirements or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you of significant changes as soon as possible.


5. Travel Requirements

5.1 Passports and Visas

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and all required travel documents
  • Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Egypt
  • Visa requirements vary by nationality; please check requirements for your specific country
  • Dina Tours is not responsible for denied entry due to invalid documentation

5.2 Health Requirements

  • You are responsible for obtaining necessary vaccinations and health precautions
  • We recommend consulting your doctor before travel
  • You must inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements at the time of booking

5.3 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation. Dina Tours is not liable for costs arising from incidents that would be covered by travel insurance.


6. Tour Participation

6.1 Fitness and Health

  • Some tours involve walking, climbing stairs, and physical activity; please ensure you are fit enough to participate
  • Inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to complete the tour
  • We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe your health or fitness level poses a risk to yourself or others

6.2 Age Restrictions

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Some activities have minimum age requirements, which will be specified in the tour description
  • Child pricing applies to specific age ranges as detailed in each tour

6.3 Behavior and Conduct

Participants must:

  • Follow the instructions of guides and tour operators
  • Respect local customs, laws, and cultural sensitivities
  • Not engage in illegal activities
  • Not behave in a manner that disrupts the tour or endangers others

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, dangerous, or disruptive without refund.


7. Liability and Responsibilities

7.1 Our Responsibilities

  • We will provide services with reasonable skill and care
  • We will use reputable, licensed guides, drivers, and service providers
  • We will make reasonable efforts to ensure your safety and comfort

7.2 Limitations of Liability

Dina Tours and its partners are not liable for:

  • Loss, damage, or injury caused by third-party service providers
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes due to weather, mechanical failure, strikes, or force majeure
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Costs incurred due to missed connections or delays
  • Illness or injury during the tour
  • Any consequential or indirect losses

7.3 Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid for your tour booking.

7.4 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Arriving at designated meeting points on time
  • Bringing necessary documentation (passports, visas, tickets)
  • Your personal belongings and valuables
  • Any costs resulting from your failure to follow instructions or tour requirements
  • Respecting local laws and customs

8. Force Majeure

Dina Tours shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms)
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government actions or restrictions
  • Pandemics or health emergencies
  • Strikes or industrial action
  • Technical failures

In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements but are not liable for refunds or compensation beyond the tour cost.


9. Complaints and Disputes

9.1 During Your Tour

If you have any issues during your tour, please inform your guide or contact our customer service immediately so we can attempt to resolve the problem promptly.

9.2 After Your Tour

Written complaints must be submitted within 30 days of tour completion via email with your booking reference, details of the issue, and supporting evidence. We will investigate and respond within 14 business days.

9.3 Resolution

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints fairly. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, disputes may be subject to Egyptian law and jurisdiction.


10. Photography and Marketing

10.1 Use of Images

By participating in our tours, you consent to Dina Tours taking photographs and videos during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes unless you explicitly opt out.

10.2 Your Photography

You are welcome to take photographs during tours for personal use, subject to local restrictions at certain sites. Please respect photography restrictions at religious sites and always ask permission before photographing local people.


11. Personal Data and Privacy

11.1 Data Collection

We collect personal information necessary to process your booking and provide tour services. This includes names, contact details, passport information, and special requirements.

11.2 Data Usage

Your information will be used to:

  • Process and confirm your booking
  • Communicate with you about your tour
  • Comply with legal requirements
  • Improve our services

11.3 Data Protection

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal data and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to provide your tour services or as required by law.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Dina Tours website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.


13. Special Requests and Accessibility

13.1 Special Requests

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests (dietary requirements, room preferences, accessibility needs) but cannot guarantee fulfillment. Special requests must be communicated at the time of booking.

13.2 Accessibility

While we strive to accommodate travelers with disabilities, many historical sites in Egypt have limited accessibility. Please contact us before booking to discuss specific requirements and feasibility.


14. Third-Party Services

14.1 Independent Contractors

Many services are provided by independent contractors including hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, and activity providers. While we carefully select partners, we are not liable for their actions or failures.

14.2 GetYourGuide Platform

Bookings made through GetYourGuide are also subject to GetYourGuide’s terms and conditions. In case of conflict, these terms shall prevail for services directly provided by Dina Tours.


15. Gratuities

Gratuities (tips) for guides, drivers, and service staff are not included in tour prices unless explicitly stated. Tipping is customary in Egypt and appreciated for good service.


16. Miscellaneous

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Dina Tours and supersede any previous agreements or representations.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

16.3 Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

16.4 Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your booking to another person without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to another entity.


17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these terms or your tour booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian courts.
